The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,
EFCC, Ola Olukoyede, has lamented the sharp drop in whistle-blowing operation in Nigeria.
According to a statement shared on the official X handle of the Anti-graft agency on Thursday, the EFCC boss stated that by December 2025, the decade-long policy, which recovered over $178 million stolen from the Federal Government in two months of introduction, has suffered a significant decline despite its impact.

The statement reads, “by December 2025, the policy has been close to a decade in operation in Nigeria; but my interest is not in its longevity but impact.
