A Senior Advocate of Nigeria and former National Chairman of the NBA Welfare Committee, Chief Emeka Ozoani SAN, has donated ₦10 million towards the construction of the Bar Centre and Secretariat of the Nigerian Bar Association during the Branch’s 2026 Law Week.

The donation was announced at the well-attended Law Week programme which drew judges, senior lawyers, legal practitioners, and stakeholders from across the country.

Members of the Branch applauded the gesture, describing it as unprecedented and a major boost to the Branch’s infrastructure development efforts and a significant contribution towards the realization of a befitting Bar Centre and Secretariat.

Speaking at the event, Chief Emeka Ozoani SAN stressed the need for continuous investment in Bar infrastructure to strengthen professional activities, improve administration, and promote unity among lawyers.

He noted that the legal profession must continue to build strong institutions capable of supporting the growth and welfare of members.

Leaders of the Makurdi Branch commended the donation and described Chief Ozoani as a committed supporter of the legal profession whose contributions to Bar development have continued to impact lawyers across the country.

The 2026 Law Week featured discussions on justice sector reforms, legal practice, and institutional advancement within the Nigerian legal profession.
