Lawyer declared Missing after leaving Lekki Home since Dec 10

LAGOS-Concern has mounted within the legal community following the disappearance of a Lagos-based legal practitioner, Ugwoke Henry Onyebuchi Esq., a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch.

According to a public post made on Facebook by his friend and colleague, Timothy Onyedika, Onyebuchi was last seen on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, when he left his residence in the Lekki area of Lagos State at about 9:00 p.m. He has not returned since then, and all efforts to reach him via his mobile phone have proved unsuccessful.Onyedika disclosed that the sudden loss of contact with the lawyer has caused serious concern among his friends

and colleagues, who have since commenced a search for him.

“We are seriously in search of our friend and colleague,” he wrote, calling on members of the public to assist with any useful information that could help locate the missing lawyer.

He urged anyone with relevant information on Onyebuchi’s whereabouts to contact him directly on 07066017226 or report to the nearest police station.

Photographs of the missing lawyer have also been circulated to aid identification, as colleagues continue to hope and pray for his safe return.

As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official statement from law enforcement authorities on the matter. The development has, however, sparked growing concern within the legal community.
