The Young Lawyers Forum (YLF), Ibadan Branch, has announced that the YLF-Ibadan/Prince Lateef Fagbemi SAN Pro Bono Scheme has officially gathered momentum, with several young lawyers already benefiting from the initiative through the assignment of legal matters for pro bono representation.

The scheme, sponsored by renowned legal practitioner and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mutallubi Ojo Adebayo, was established in honour of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN.

The YLF-Ibadan/ Prince Lateef Fagbemi SAN Pro Bono scheme hits top gear in Ibadan

The Pro Bono scheme is Sponsored by the Learned Silk Mutallubi Ojo Adebayo in honor of the Attorney General of the Federation, Prince Lateef Fagbemi SAN.

This scheme has been lauded by the YLF-Ibadan branch chairman, Mr. Timilehin Olayiwola as a timely and people oriented scheme. It is his belief that the scheme will elevate the forum and equally sharpen the advocacy scheme of young lawyers within the branch.

Young Lawyers within the post call years of 0-5 are eligible to benefit under this scheme. The learned silk has promised to pay to the lawyers who have had cases assigned to them a support or logistics fees in the sum of 250k.

So far several young lawyers have indicated interest in the scheme and cases have been assigned to them.

The young lawyers thank the learned silk for this wonderful initiative and prays it continues for years to come.
