The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is set to officially kick off its 66th Annual General Conference today at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Tens of thousands of lawyers from across the country are expected in what is usually described as the largest gathering of lawyers in Africa.

This year’s Annual General Conference with the theme, Beyond Limits, brings together distinguished members of the Bar and the Bench, policymakers, business leaders, legal practitioners and other stakeholders from across Nigeria and beyond for a week of robust engagement, professional interaction and meaningful conversations.

President Bola Tinubu is expected to declare the event which starts by 4pm, while former president of Liberia, George Weah will deliver the keynote address.
