The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Tsoho, has affirmed his readiness to cooperate with the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) over allegations of breaches in the code of conduct for public officers.
Justice Tsoho stated that he would respond to the CCB’s invitation once his lawyer, Kanu Agabi (SAN), who is currently abroad, returns to Nigeria.
This update was confirmed in a statement on Monday by Dr. Catherine Oby Christopher, Director of Information at the Federal High Court of Nigeria.
According to the statement, “The Honourable Chief Judge, Justice John Terhemba Tsoho, remains fully committed to cooperating with the Code of Conduct Bureau in relation to its invitation. In line with his constitutional right to legal representation, his lawyer, Kanu Godwin Agabi, CON, SAN, will accompany him to the bureau upon his return from medical leave abroad.
“The Code of Conduct Bureau has been informed that the week commencing Monday, 16 March 2026, is convenient for scheduling the Chief Judge’s appearance. Justice Tsoho continues to uphold his commitment to due process, transparency, and the rule of law.”
