Shop Owners and Operators at Ikota Shopping Complex have elected a new Executive Committee to oversee the affairs of its association, ending an extended period without a formally constituted leadership structure.

The election, conducted by the association’s Electoral Committee, also produced a Board of Trustees aimed at strengthening governance, accountability, and oversight within the complex.

Chairperson of the Electoral Committee, Mrs. Bunmi Oniwinde, said the association had operated for some time without a full leadership structure following the death of some members and the relocation of others.

Oniwinde expressed confidence that the newly elected executives, working alongside the Board of Trustees, would enhance coordination, transparency, and effective administration of the shopping complex.
