/* That's all, stop editing! */ define('DISABLE_WP_CRON', true); Law School releases guideline for 2025/2026 Bar Part II tuition fee payment – Ask Legal Palace

The Council of Legal Education (CLE), through the Nigerian Law School, has released an official public notice detailing how eligible candidates can pay their Bar Part II tuition fees for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The announcement, dated February 4, 2026, applies strictly to candidates who have been fully admitted into the Bar Part II programme, which began on February 2, 2026. Lectures are currently ongoing at the Law School’s headquarters in Abuja, as well as its campuses in Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Yenagoa, Yola, and Port Harcourt.

According to the notice signed by the Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration, the approved tuition fee for Nigerian students remains ₦476,000, payable only through the official Remita platform.

Admitted candidates are instructed to visit www.remita.net, select “Pay TSA/FGN & State,” choose “FGN: Federal Government of Nigeria,” and proceed to “Pay a Biller.” Under the payment details, students must select “Council of Legal Education” as the biller and choose “Bar Part II – Nigerian” as the service purpose. They are also required to enter “Bar Part Two Tuition Fees” in the description field and ensure their full name—surname first—is correctly provided before completing the transaction.

The Council stressed that only candidates with full admission status are permitted to make payments at this stage, warning that failure to follow the outlined process could lead to errors and delays in registration.

The ₦476,000 fee remains unchanged from the 2023/2024 academic session, when it was increased from ₦296,000. Despite earlier objections raised by lawmakers over the hike, the current fee structure continues to apply for the 2025/2026 Bar Part II programme.

Admitted students have been advised to verify their admission status and strictly adhere to the payment guidelines to ensure smooth registration and uninterrupted participation in the programme.
