Alleged RPC Violation: Car Spotted At Awka With Bearing Head Of Chambers Name
Controversy has once again erupted today in the legal community over the propriety of the inscription seen on a car in Awka, Anambra State, which possibly belonged to a law firm.

The inscription on the car shows the Office of the Head of Chambers, ANTONIO LEX FIRMA.

Barristers & Solicitors of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Other details include the address and phone numbers of the Law firm.
Rule 39 of the Rules of Professional Conduct (RPC), 2007 prohibits advertisement and makes it unprofessional for a lawyer to solicit professional employment by circulars, advertisement for professional employment such as furnishing or inspiring newspaper, comments amongst others.

There has been an argument that the inscription violates the above provisions of RPC.

In a bid to ascertain if the image was photoshopped or real, dialed the numbers on the body of the Car, the first number rang but no answers while the other number was switched off.
