Bauchi Commissioner for Health, Dr. Aliyu Maigoro, announced this during a press conference on Thursday.
He said the second case is a 62-year-old patient.
Newsmen reports that the Governor is currently in isolation after testing positive for the disease.
The governor said he shook hands and exchanged pleasantries with the son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Mohammad, who was confirmed positive by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control.
