The senator representing Anambra north district, Stella Oduah, was yesterday questioned by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged money laundering.

The Guardian learnt that Oduah, a former aviation minister, arrived the headquarters of the anti-graft agency at about 11 a.m.

EFCC spokesperson, Wilson, said the senator remained in custody at about 6:30 p.m. when he left office yesterday.

Oduah had denied diverting public funds in a statement she issued earlier in the month.
