NAFDAC: registration fee reduced by 50%
NAFDAC reviews registration fees for businesses downwards by 50%
NAFDAC - In an effort to boost and ease business transactions in Nigeria, National Agency for Food and Drugs and Control, NAFDAC, has reviewed downward registration fees of floating a new business by 50 percent. 

NAFDAC, Acting Director General, Mr Ademola Mogbojuru, who disclosed this at the NAFDAC stakeholders consultative forum for Small and Medium Scale Enterprises, SMSE, also announced the decentralisation of registering new businesses and the renewal of the existing ones to the zonal offices of the agency across the country. 

He, however, made it clear that NAFDAC would not sacrifice standard for the new policy, saying the new steps taken was only to facilitate new businesses across the country and not not to lower the standard and qualities required of any business before take off. 

He also assured that henceforth, registration of a new business would not go beyond ninety days, depending on the submission of the required papers and other documents required by the agency. 

He warned the staff of the agency against frustrating the registration process by clients, pointing out any erring staff caught going against the new Change Agenda of the agency would be booted out of service.
