*Says Publication Unknown To It

The Garki Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association has issued a disclaimer over a publication credited to the branch on cruel assassinations of legal practitioners resident in Port Harcourt and Abuja.

The publication which is purported to have been signed (and issued) by the ‘NBA Body of Vice Chairs’ is dated November 29, 2022.

According to the public notice (and disclaimer) signed by the Chairman of the NBA Garki Branch – Obioma Ezenwobodo, the said publication did not emanate from its fold, and was not issued by it.

He further added that no such authorization was given for it’s publication, stressing that ‘the Branch disassociates itself entirely from the said publication as the said body is unknown to it’.
