A group, Conference of Nigeria Civil Society for Peace, Human Rights and National Unity, has deplored the 2020 report of the Amnesty International indicating the military of rights violation in the North East.
The global agency also sought an investigation of the allegations by the International Criminal Court.

To this end, the group, which accused the Amnesty of constantly “showing sympathy to terrorists through its actions and reports”, has given the foreign organisation seven days to vacate Nigeria or face its wrath.

In a statement yesterday in Abuja by its National Coordinator, Prof. Wole Ajayi, and National Secretary, Festus Nwanko, the CSO threatened to deploy every lawful means should the agency flout the notice.
