The Anambra State Government has said that Enugwu Adazi is not a recognized community in Anaocha Local Government Area of the state.

This was disclosed in a letter by Anambra State Government System titled: “Re: Application to verify whether Enugwu Adazi is one community recognized by the Anambra State government in Anaocha Local Government Area”, with the Ref No: AOLG/S.63T.II/B1, dated 13th Sept. 2021 and made available to ASKLEGALPALACE.

The letter which was addressed to Okongwu, Okongwu & Associates, Nwadinobi Chambers, party read, “Refer to the above subject matter and with further reference to your letter dated the 7th day of September 2021.

“I am directed to convey to you that Enugwu-Adazi is not one of the Towns that constitutes Anaocha Local Government Area as recognized by the Government of Anambra State and accordingly In the official gazette.”

The letter signed by Chike Ezeani, Esq, KSJI, JP, C.A.O/Litigation Officer, further stated that NENI, OBELEDU, ADAZI-ENU, ADAZI-ANI, ADAZI-NNUKWU, AKWAEZE, NRI, AGULU, ICHIDA, and AGULUZIGBO, are the Towns that comprises of Anaocha Local Government Area.
