The Chairman of the Welfare Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association, Y. C. Maikyau, SAN has sent his condolence to the Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria (MULAN) over the demise of its Secretary, Isama’il Alasa.
Maikyau, in a message made available to ASKLEGALPALACE, said Alasa was a good man and a devout Muslim.
According to him, death has robbed the Association of capable hands
“I received the shocking news of the untimely demise of Mr. Isma’il Alasa with sadness, but absolute submission to the divine will of the Giver and Taker of life, The Almighty.
“The reputation of Mr. Alasa as a good man, devout Muslim, excellent advocate and effective mobilizer preceded him and earned him the confidence of our colleagues at MULAN who made him Secretary-General of the Association only about a month ago. Death has indeed robbed the Association of the promise of his capable hands and his family, the companionship of a faithful man. However, sufficient is God as a Comforter and as Healer.” Maikyau said.
The Learned Silk, therefore, prays that “May God Almighty comfort and heal the family of late Alasa, his friends and the MULAN, and May his selfless soul be granted Jannah. Amin!”
