JUDICIARY -THE chief Judge of Kogi State, Justice Nasiru Ajana has warned judicial officers in the State against their penchant for lobbying and complaining over where they are posted.
Ajana who spoke against the backdrop of the tendency for judicial officers to lobby or make complaints over their postings said they could be posted to any jurisdiction within the State.
This was contained in the speech delivered by the chief Judge at the swearing in ceremony of the newly appointed magistrate Ohunene Momoh at the High court of Justice headquarters in Lokoja yesterday.
“I always draw the attention of our judges to the responsibilities they owe God and humanity in the discharge of their duties. I commend such to you.
“You are to be God fearing in all your activities. You have also to be faithful to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as we are a nation govern by laws,” he charged the new magistrate.
He urged her to be conversant with the other legislations that will guide her in dispensing justice to all and sundry that appears before her.
