The former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, has warned against a plagiarised e-copy of his book My Transition Hours being circulated on line.

“We have just been informed that a fake document contrived by mischief makers is being passed on as the e-version and hard copy of the just launched #MyTransitionHours,” Jonathan tweeted on Thursday.

“Also, note that the e-copy of #MyTransitionHours ’is not being marketed, as such, the fake online version could only have been created by those out to deceive the unsuspecting public,” he added.

The former president has therefore advised “the general public to ignore such publication as the chapters and contents are not the same as the book publicly presented two days ago in Abuja.”

My Transition Hours is a 15-Chapter book launched on the 20th of November which detailed the major experiences of the Jonathan Presidency and the intricate events of the few hours of his concession to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Jonathan also recounted how his opponents used the Boko Haram insurgency, abduction of Chibok schoolgirls and fuel subsidy to throw him out of power in 2015.
