The Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association has activated a dedicated Voter Support Desk to assist eligible lawyers experiencing technical difficulties in the ongoing 2026 NBA National Elections.
In a notice sent to members on Saturday, July 18, 2026, ECNBA said voting was ongoing and that support was now available to lawyers who were having genuine challenges exercising their franchise.
The Committee directed affected voters to send their complaints to its dedicated voter support email: support@ecnba.zohodesk.com.
According to the notice, the support desk is to handle technical issues relating to non-receipt of OTPs, unrecognised Supreme Court Numbers, portal access errors, ballot submission errors and any other genuine difficulty preventing eligible voters from voting.
ECNBA said voters may contact the support desk if they entered their SCN but did not receive an OTP through SMS despite having an active phone line and disabling Do Not Disturb mode.
The Committee also said lawyers whose SCNs are rejected by the portal, despite their names appearing on the Final Voters Register, should report the issue through the support channel.
It further listed portal access errors, including inability to access ecnba.org.ng/vote/ecnba-ovs-main/ or cases where the voting page fails to load, as issues that may be reported.
Voters who successfully authenticate but encounter errors during ballot selection or submission were also advised to contact the support desk.
ECNBA directed lawyers sending support requests to include their full name, SCN, registered phone number, a brief description of the issue and any error message displayed, saying the information would enable the technical support team to assist them promptly.
The Committee, however, warned that the support desk is strictly for genuine technical voting difficulties and not for complaints about election conduct, candidate disputes or general enquiries.
It said complaints relating to election conduct or other general matters should be directed to the ECNBA Secretariat through info@ecnba.org.ng.
“The Electoral Committee urges all members to vote without delay. The support desk is staffed and standing by to assist eligible voters throughout the voting window,” the notice stated.
The notice was signed by Aham Ejelam, SAN, Chairman of the ECNBA 2026, and Ibrahim Aliyu Nassarawa, Esq., Secretary of the Committee.
The advisory came as the latest live results dashboard showed that 23,072 voters out of 82,164 registered voters had voted as of 7:28:40 p.m. WAT on Saturday, July 18, 2026, representing 28.08 per cent turnout. This means 59,092 voters, representing 71.92 per cent of registered voters, had yet to vote at the time of the update. The dashboard also showed that the last vote was recorded at 2:28:38 p.m. WAT.
