Philanthropist and House of Representatives aspirant in Ekiti State, Igbekele Ayodele, has lauded former President of Nigeria Bar Association, Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), on his ranking as a Senior Statesman in Dispute Resolution.
Ayodele, who is the founder of Igbekeleoluwa Foundation, in a statement in Ado Ekiti on Friday, described the global recognition for Olanipekun as well deserved and pride for Ekiti and Nigeria.
Olanipekun, the principal partner of Wole Olanipekun & Co, whose legal firm was built on decades of focused advocacy and continued contributions to constitutional and commercial dispute resolution, was recently ranked as a Senior Statesman in Dispute Resolution in the Chambers and Partners 2026 Rankings.
Ayodele described the recognition for Olanipekun as an affirmation of “decades of exemplary legal practice, principled advocacy and unwavering commitment to constitutional law and the rule of law in Nigeria and beyond”.
The philanthropist, who said the honour was well deserved, told Olanipekun, “Your elevation reflects not only professional excellence, but also your lasting influence in mentoring generations and strengthening our judicial system.
“This global recognition once again brings pride to Ekiti State and Nigeria. We celebrate this milestone and pray that God continues to strengthen you and grant you greater accomplishments ahead.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu, had earlier in his congratulatory message to the senior advocate, said, “Olanipekun’s honour is a testament to decades of sustained excellence, principled advocacy and contributions to advancement of constitutional law and jurisprudence.
“Chief Olanipekun’s presence at the Bar has not only shaped legal thought but has also strengthened democratic institutions and deepened the rule of law.
