The International Law Association (Nigeria ILA) has announced the opening of entries for the Nigeria ILA Awards 2026, inviting nominations of outstanding professionals who have demonstrated excellence, leadership, and significant impact in the study and practice of international law in Nigeria and beyond.

The awards are designed to recognise individuals and institutions whose work has contributed meaningfully to the development, promotion, and application of international law across diverse sectors. Nominations are welcome across a wide range of categories, reflecting the breadth and evolving nature of international legal practice.

AWARD CATEGORIES

Outstanding Achievement Medal Distinguished Service Award (ILA- NG Member only) ILA Book Prize, Emerging Star Award for an Outstanding Young Professional.

NOMINATION GUIDELINE

Eligible candidates may self-nominate or be nominated by others. Nomination is via a letter accompanied by a detailed CV, outlining the specific award and how the candidate meets the award criteria. Same should be directed to the Chairperson of the Conference Organising Committee and sent to conference@ila-nigeria.org.ng

All submissions must be completed on or before 7 March 2026, as late entries will not be considered.
