The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) recently announced the opening of registration for its much-anticipated 2025 Annual General Conference, set to be a cornerstone event for the legal profession.
However, several lawyers have reported challenges in successfully completing their registration process. Despite following the outlined steps, many users have experienced technical glitches on the portal. One lawyer shared their frustrating experience:
“I’ve been trying to register for the conference for the past four days without success. Each time I click on ‘Register,’ it redirects me to my portal. When I click to proceed, it takes me back to the portal and shows
I haven’t registered. If I click on ‘Register’ again, it loops back to the page with the President’s picture, showing my previous transactions.”
This looping issue has left many registrants unable to confirm their participation, with no clear resolution in sight.
Common Issues Reported: 1. Looping Portal Navigation: Users report being redirected back to their portal without successfully completing registration. 2. Email Verification Problems: Some users did not receive the promised verification email, even after checking spam folders. 3. Payment Confirmation Delays: Payments made through the portal are not being immediately acknowledged, leaving registrants in limbo.
The NBA has assured participants of its commitment to resolving these issues promptly. In an official statement, the association advised affected users to reach out for technical assistance through the designated help channels:
Visit the registration portal at https://agc.nigerianbar.org.ng/register/event • Email: help@nigerianbar.org.ng • WhatsApp Support: 09129209903 Recommendations for Registrants: • Double-check your Supreme Court Number (SCN) and other details before submitting. • Clear your browser cache or try a different browser if navigation issues persist. • Contact the provided support channels if you encounter difficulties. The NBA encourages all members to act swiftly to secure their spots at early bird rates, which are available until February 28, 2025.
