The National Examinations Council (NECO) has officially released the 2024 Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) internal results. Professor Dantani Wushishi, NECO’s Registrar and Chief Executive, announced the release on Thursday, September 19, during a press briefing in Minna.
Alongside the results, NECO has blacklisted 21 supervisors across 12 states and de-recognised a school in Ekiti State for mass cheating in three subjects.
How to Check NECO 2024 Results
Follow these steps to easily access your results online:
Visit the NECO Portal:
Go to https://www.neco.gov.ng to access the official platform for checking results.
Select ‘NECO Results’:
From the homepage, click on the ‘NECO Results’ option to be redirected to the result-checking page.
Alternatively, you can go directly to the result portal at https://results.neco.gov.ng.
Enter Your Examination Details:
Provide your examination year (2024), type (June/July or Nov/Dec), and your unique examination number.
Input Your Token:
Purchase the token from the NECO website or authorized retailers, and input it in the required field.
View Your Results:
Click the ‘Check Results’ button, and your results will appear on the screen within seconds.
Important Notes:
Token Purchase: The most secure place to buy your token is from the official NECO website, or from authorized third-party retailers.
Token Usage: Each result-checking token can be used up to five times. If you need to check your result beyond that, use the NECO E-Verify Result Verification Portal.
Ensure you do not exhaust your token’s access, as new tokens cannot be used to check the same result again.
