Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Ikeja branch has announced the sudden demise of its former Chairman, Adesina Ogunlana Esq., who passed away on August 6th, 2024, at the age of 60 , just days after celebrating his 60th birthday on July 27th.
The news was shared in an obituary announcement by the branch’s Secretary, Dr. Issa Adedokun.
Ogunlana, who served as the Chairman of the NBA Ikeja branch from 2016 to 2018, was a beloved leader and a distinguished member of the legal community. The Executive Committee expressed their deep sadness at his passing but found solace in the fact that he lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation by all.
During his tenure as Chairman and throughout his career, Ogunlana made significant contributions to the NBA Ikeja branch, the legal profession, and the country as a whole. His dedication and commitment to the cause of justice will forever remain indelible in the hearts and minds of those who knew him.
The announcement also mentioned that burial arrangements will be communicated once they have been confirmed by Ogunlana’s immediate family. The NBA Ikeja branch has called upon its members to remember the family in their prayers during this difficult time.
