Protests: Sen. Musa urges Nigerian youths to avoid destructive behaviour

Sen. Sani Musa (APC-Niger), Chairman, Senate Committee on Finance, has appealed to Nigerian youths to express their grievances peacefully and within the bounds of the law.

Musa, who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria( NAN) in a telephone interview on Friday also emphasized the importance of dialogue in addressing concerns.

Musa also cautioned the youth against resorting to violence or destructive behavior.

He assured the protesters that President Bola Tinubu and the National Assembly’s leadership have heard their concerns and urged them to give the president time to address their grievances.

Musa warned against allowing selfish individuals to exploit the situation for political gain.
He emphasized the need to rally behind the current administration’s efforts to implement policies and program that would improve the lives of Nigerians.
The lawmaker urged the youths not to become agents of destruction, but should work to preserve the country’s hard-won unity.

Musa said, ”Don’t allow selfish individuals to exploit you for their political gains.

”Instead, let’s rally behind the current administration’s efforts to implement policies and programs that will improve the lives of Nigerians.

” I urge Nigerian youths not to become agents of destruction. We have only one Nigeria, and we must work together to preserve its hard-won unity.

”I strongly appeal to Nigerian youths to work together to preserve the country’s peace.”
