Nigerian Bar Association and Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NBA-ICLE) has collaborated with the Capital Markets Solicitors Association (CMSA) to organise a free 4-day virtual training for lawyers seeking to expand their expertise in capital markets law and practice.

The virtual training is scheduled to take place on December 1, 5, 6, and 12, 2023, and aims to sharpen the knowledge and skills of participating lawyers regarding the legal frameworks, regulatory dynamism, deal structuring, documentation, and product offerings that characterise Nigeria’s capital markets.

According to a statement jointly signed by the Chairman of the NBA-ICLE, Tobenna Erojikwe, and the Chairman of the CMSA, Vincent Iweze, the heads of both organisations, the training has been designed to address knowledge gaps among legal practitioners, especially at a time when Nigeria’s capital markets sector is rapidly evolving. It will feature interactive sessions facilitated by renowned capital markets solicitors and incorporate global best practices tailored for the Nigerian space.
