Bwari area council allocates three hectares of land to immigration service

The Acting Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Caroline Adepoju and officials of the Bwari Area Council during the donation ceremony.

The Acting Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Caroline Adepoju on Tuesday commended officials of the Bwari Area Council for donating three Hectares of Land to the FCT Command as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

Service Public Relations Officer, Dr Dotun Aridegbe, disclosed this in a statement he signed late Tuesday.

Led by the Council Chairman, John Gabaya, the delegation presented the Deed of Title to the Ag. CGI at the Service Headquarters in Abuja.

In her remarks, the Ag. CGI noted the timeliness of the gesture saying it supports her vision in providing welfare incentives which include housing units that will alleviate the accommodation deficit faced by Officers and Men of the Service.

Present at the event were the Assistant Comptroller-General in charge of the Human Resource Management Directorate, Usman Babanginda, Comptroller Anthony Akuneme of the FCT Command, as well as Deputy Comptroller of Immigration Aridegbe, the Service PRO.
