The Lagos Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) received the sad news that the Hon. Justice Onyeabo dies on the 27 August 2023.

According to the message released to ASKLEGALPALACE read as follows

Dear Seniors and Colleagues,

The Executive Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos Branch, wishes to formally inform our members of the passing of Honourable Justice Grace Modupe Onyeabo, who died Sunday, 27 August 2023.

On behalf of the Premier Bar, the Chairman, Olabisi Makanjuola has written to the Chief Judge of Lagos State to commiserate with my lord the Chief Judge, his brother judges and indeed all members of the Lagos State Judiciary on this loss.

During her time on the bench, Hon. Justice Onyeabo was a cerebral jurist and a hardworking judge who contributed immensely to justice delivery in Lagos State.

May God grant her family and the entire Judiciary of Lagos State the fortitude to bear this loss. Amen.

As a mark of respect, we implore our members to be solemn on all our groups today.
