PWAN allocates land, resolves dispute

A real estate firm, Property World Africa Network (PWAN) has disclosed that it has resolved a six-year land allocation dispute between the firm and some subscribers in the Lekki area, Lagos.

Some of the subscribers to the Diamond Estate, situated behind Shoprite and Sangotedo Monastery, off Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos, were unable to take possession of their land due to some unresolved issues.

One of the subscribers had complained that he paid for a portion of land in the estate since 2017, but didn’t make any effort towards securing allocation of the land. However, when the matter was officially reported to the Chairman, PWAN Group, Dr. Augustine Onwumere this year, a meeting between the affected customers and the firm led to a peaceful resolution of the matter.

Speaking during the meeting, Onwumere said the issue has finally been resolved and subscribers could now access their land or start building on their plots.

He said the estate has witnessed significant infrastructural development, while several new projects in the vicinity have already begun construction. He further assured subscribers of support by offering free building plans and expert advice to start building.

“PWAN will provide necessary assistance, such as facilitating approval process and supplying construction materials. The company aims to make the estate habitable by coordinating efforts to collectively develop the necessary infrastructure.

The company reaffirms its commitment to providing value and fulfilling its promises to customers, ensuring that everyone receives what they paid for.

With the collective efforts of the customers and the company, the estate will soon become a thriving community,” Onwumere said.

He stated that the firm plans to station a container on-site, stocked with cement and other building materials for customers to purchase conveniently.

Onwumere added that a team of experts will reach out to every customer to guide them through the required procedures, including sand filling and ensuring the land is ready for use.

Reacting, one of the subscribers, Mr. Tope Brown, who purchased his land in 2016, said initial skepticism about getting possession of the property has been resolved. He lauded the firm for its commitment to rectify the matter.
