According to a recent announcement, the Council of Legal Education has released the schedule of fees for the Nigerian Law School Bar Part II program.
The comprehensive list includes various services and purposes along with their respective fees.
The schedule of fees is as follows:
50th Anniversary (Alumni fees) – ₦10,000 Bar Part I Application Fees – ₦20,000 Application for Admission to the Remedial Course for Non-Common Law Graduates – ₦20,000 School Fees: Bar Part I School Fees (Nigerian) – ₦240,000 Bar Part I School Fees (Foreigner) – ₦1,380,000 Bar Part II (Nigerian) – ₦296,000 Bar Part II (Foreigner) – ₦1,970,000 Breakdown of Result – ₦2,500 Verification of Result – ₦5,000 Certified True Copy of Document – ₦13,000 Identity Card – ₦5,000 Introduction Letter – ₦5,000 Loss of Certificate – ₦5,000 Remedial Course: One Paper – ₦50,000 Two Papers and above – ₦90,000
Resit Examination (Bar II):
One Paper: ₦50,000 All Papers: ₦100,000 + Revision Fee ₦40,000 Resit Examination (Bar I):
One Paper: ₦50,000 Two Papers and above: Revision Program: ₦90,000
Middle East/Eastern Europe: Asia & Australia: ₦35,000 Latin America: ₦45,000
Transcript Processing Fees:
London/UK: ₦25,000 Ghana: ₦28,000
Western Europe: ₦30,000 Other West African Countries: ₦30,000 USA/Canada: ₦28,000 South Africa: ₦35,000 The Rest of Africa: ₦38,000
Payment for these fees must be made exclusively through the CB/REMITA payment gateway using approved channels. Individuals can log on to www.remita.net, select COUNCIL OF LEGAL EDUCATION as the biller, and fill in the relevant fields as required.
The Council of Legal Education emphasizes that it is the responsibility of the payer to ensure that the correct amount is paid for the appropriate service. As this is a Sub Treasury Single Account (TSA) of the Federal Government of Nigeria, no application for a refund will be entertained.
Prospective participants in the Nigerian Law School Bar Part II program are advised to familiarize themselves with the schedule of fees and make payments accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
