Theme: “The Bar, the Bench, and Law Enforcement Agencies, time for synergy in Nigeria’s justice administration”
The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA Awka Branch in Anambra State, also known as “The Capital Bar” is set to hold her Bar Week from Thursday, 1st of June to Sunday, 4th of June, 2023.
The 26th Bar Week will be done under the theme: “The Bar, The Bench, and Law Enforcement Agencies: Time for Synergy in Nigeria’s Justice Administration”
Professor Chidi Anselm Odinkalu, a former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, is scheduled to give the key note address during the opening ceremony at the Ozo Amanke Okafor Bar Center in Awka around 9:00am while the lecture continues on Friday, 2nd June 2023
Other activities for the Bar Week includes a Health Talk and Sport scheduled to hold on Saturday, 3rd June at the Awka Main Stadium by 8am and then, a Dinner and Award Ceremony at the Finotel Hotel Main Hall by 6pm.
After this, a thanksgiving service is scheduled to hold at the Cathedral Church of St. Faith by 9am on Sunday, 4th June.
