The Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers Forum (NBA-YLF) is pleased to announce the second edition of its arbitration moot competition, the Arbitration Challenge 2.0. As with the inaugural edition, we invite participation from all NBA branches nationwide.
The Chairman of Nigeria Bar Association Young Lawyers Forum, Muntasir Adamu disclosed this on Monday.
This year, the Organising Committee has opted not to adopt the Willem C. Vis Moot scenario. Instead, they have opted for a self-developed problem which features an entirely Nigerian dispute. The aim is to ensure the dispute is relatable and that all lawyers, regardless of their backgrounds can participate reasonably in the competition.
Interested participants are advised to contact their local NBA branches. Branches are advised to register their teams of 7 (max.) by following the link below:

Legal practitioners of all ages are, however, invited to the training event which is aimed at building the capacity of Nigerian lawyers in domestic and international arbitration. The first of these training events is scheduled for the 27th and 28th of April 2023.
