Olumide Babalola LP first edition of annual privacy and data protection conference holds March 22

The Law Firm of Olumide Babalola LP is set to host the first edition of her annual privacy and data protection conference named ‘PrivCon Nigeria’ on the 22nd day of March 2023 at the AGIP hall, Muson Centre, Lagos, Nigeria.

The conference is themed “Building Blocks of Privacy and Data Protection Practice for Nigerian Business Community: The Stakeholders Role-Playing”. It promises to be an unprecedented platform where privacy professionals and industry stakeholders will meet, interact and share perspectives on various issues affecting privacy and data protection law and practice in Nigeria.

Many speakers have been lined up to participate in the event including Hon. Justice Ibironke Harrison, a judge of the High Court of Lagos State; Uche Val Obi,

a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and managing partner of Alliance Law Firm; Fejiro Hanu Agboje, the CEO of Patricia, an e-commerce platform; Babatunde Bamigboye, head, legal enforcements at Nigeria Data Protection Bureau (NDPB); Sanjeev Gathani, founder APAC Ltd, Singapore; Shella Fru of Cameroonian Data Protection Association; Dr. Kemi Omotubora, a senior lecturer at the University of Lagos; Magdalena Rzaca, Geant Association, Amsterdam; Abisola Epoyun, Flutterwave; Damilola Ibikunle of Law Pavillion; Beverley Agbakoba-Onyejianya, partner Olisa Agbakoba Legal; Oyeyemi Oke, partner AO2Law and others.
