Ahead of the 2023 general elections, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Olisa Agbakoba, has said Nigeria has never been this disunited.
He added that the next president of the country would be confronted with disunity, disorder and insecurity.
The senior lawyer stated this in the Olisa Agbakoba Legal Policy Report 2022, titled, ‘Big Issues for the 2023 General Elections.’
According to the report, Nigeria is in an extremely fragile state and available indices show characteristics of a failing state.
“Nigeria has never been this disunity and disordered. The international index of failed states says Nigeria is in a low-grade civil war. There is insecurity, conflict and agitation everywhere.
Agbakogba, while also addressing a press conference on Tuesday at his Apapa Chambers, said if the issues of disunity and insecurity were not resolved, there would be no peace in the country.
