A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and Ondo State Governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu, has cautioned members of the Nigeria Bar Association against involving in acts that can cause division among the men of legal profession.
Akeredolu, who is a former NBA president and Life Bencher of the association, charged members of the Bar to embrace peace and continue to work for the progress of the association.
He stated this in a statement he personally signed and issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, on Saturday.
The governor, in the statement, reacted to a recent statement credited to Chief Niyi Akintola, over the latter’s comment on the immediate past president of the NBA, Mr Olumide Akpata.
Faulting the comment, Akeredolu said Akpata could not be referred to as a boy under any circumstances.
