The much-anticipated transition of the leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association is scheduled to hold on Friday, 26th August, 2022 at the prestigious Eko Hotels & Suites at 11:00 am prompt.

The handover/inauguration ceremony will conclude the activities of the Olumide Akpata-led administration at the NBA’s 62nd Annual General Conference.

According to the Chairman of the Transition Committee, Paul-Harris Ogbole, SAN, the success of the current administration is represented by free and fair elections and a seamless transition to the 31st National Executive Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association.

The Transition Committee and Transition and Implementation Committee ably headed by Afam Osigwe, SAN, are working to ensure that the baton is passed on to the new National Executive Committee of the NBA led by Y. C. Maikyau, SAN as they hit the ground running and delivering on their mandate to members and the Nigerian people.
