A former Chairman of NBA Abuja Branch, Desmond Yamah Esq, has said that the first five female High Court Judges in Nigeria, left worthy legacies in the Judiciary.
Yamah made this remark on Friday in Commemoration of International Day of Women Judges.
The judges are Dulcie Ethel Adunola Oguntoye, Roseline Omotosho, Modupe Omo-Eboh, Akinuke Ige, Aloma Mukhtar.
He said they dared where even their male counterparts dread.
He added that Aloma Muktar (JSC Rtd.) later became the first female Chief Justice of Nigeria.
“They’re the true amazons of our time,” he added.
