Amidst reported cases of fire and building collapse in Nigeria, stakeholders in the building industry will on April 6-7 gather for the most anticipated conference in tall buildings.

The announcement was made in a statement.

Experts from around the world will provide valuable insights into current best practices and Tall Building Fire Safety innovation. The conference will focus on fire engineering, fire protection, prevention and risk management in the Tall Building environment.

The conference host, Jumade Adejola, CEO of Surveillant Fire Ltd, said “there has been several cases of tall building casualties across the world in recent time and one is faced with the question, how prepared are we as a nation to forestall this! n Nigeria, we have witnessed various Tall Building crisis from building collapses to fire incidents.

“We cannot wait till we have a serious emergency again in our hands before we take action as people are questioning the status quo regarding long-standing aspects of Tall Building Safety.

“These and others are what this conference seeks to address. ”
