Edo State Government has explained that the recent announcement for Alaghodaro was on the composition of the Board of Trustees (BoT) for Alaghodaro and not the organising committee for Governor Godwin Obaseki’s fifth anniversary in office.
In a statement issued by Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Osarodion Ogie, clarified that the BoT of Alaghodaro comprised 10 persons, adding that Ifueko Alufokhai is the Secretary and not Osarodion Ogie as was erroneously reported.
Ogie said the committee to organise the fifth anniversary of the Obaseki administration would be announced in due course.
He maintained that Chairman of Sterling Bank Plc, Asue Ighodalo, remained Chairman of the BoT, while Ogie, Solicitor-General of the state, Oluwole Iyamu (SAN), Osayi Alile, Chief Executive Officer, Aspire Coronation Trust Foundation and the Edo State Head of Service (HoS), Anthony Okungbowa are members.
Others are former Chairman of Ecobank PLC, Emmanuel Ikazoboh, President/Group CEO, Transcorp PLC, Mrs. Owen Omogiafo; Principal Partner, Izlaw Solicitors, Mrs. Izuma Sophia Onyenkpa and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Afrinvest, Mrs. Onoise Onaghinon.
