The Presidential Advisory Committee on the Prerogative of Mercy has considered 60 cases of inmates at the Kuje Correctional Centre for presidential pardon.

The committee, in a statement by the Deputy Director, Press Department, Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Julie Osagie, said the committee visited the facility on Thursday.

According to the statement, the committee was led by its chairman, Attorney General of the Federation, and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, who was represented by a Deputy Director in the Ministry of Justice, Ayoola-Daniels Leticia.
