Lonadek Global Services has commenced the celebration of its 30th anniversary as it commits to building a community that would unleash the potential of talents in the science and technology sector.

According to a statement by the firm, the Principal Consultant, Dr Ibilola Amao, said, “We have been very fortunate to work with our local and international partners on various projects that have impacted the engineering and technology sectors.

“We have trained 67 young engineers in the use of Computer-Aided Design and Draught system. We are currently digitally upskilling over 10,000 talents in collaboration with Microsoft, LinkedIn and Github, 30 Cloud Practitioners with Amazon Web Services and about to launch the Pearson City and Guilds STEM-premiership Certification Programme.”

She added that the firm was resolved to give its best to career counselling, industry awareness and youth empowerment, as it is committed to grassroots education, STEM teacher and career counsellor upskilling.

Amao said that with social impact initiatives such as the Cedar STEM and Entrepreneurship Hub, Girls in STEM, which had been geared to giving women in engineering, young professionals a chance to grow in their chosen fields and Lonadek’s youth empowerment and restoration initiative which empowers over 100,000 students across several secondary schools through career counselling and industry awareness workshops, young transformer /innovators science project competitions among others.
