THE nominees for the tenth edition of the Lagos State Man of the Year award have emerged.

The chief organiser of the award, Dr Aderemi Aderemi, in a statement on Sunday said the award was designed as a credible programme of paying tribute to excellence.

The statement partly reads, “An awardee shall emerge through a very credible participatory voting process of deciding the eventual winner. The participation shall be opened to Lagos residents in particular and the general public across the world.

“The nominees for the tenth edition of the award are: Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi; Executive Chairman, Lagos Internal Revenue Service, Ayodele Subair; Permanent Secretary Office of Infrastructure, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Lagos State, Rotimi Thomas; Rector, Yaba College of Technology, Obafemi Omokungbe, and Managing Director /CEO, Tricontinental Group, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ashiru.

“Others are, Managing Director/CEO, Keystone Bank Limited, Mr Olaniran Olayinka; Chairman, Avalon Intercontinental, Alhaji Tajudeen Owoyemi; Chairman, Seaport Terminal Operators Association Nigeria, Dr Vicky Haastrup; Chairman/GMN, Nucleaus Group, Alhaj Olaide Fowosire and Chairman /CEO, Chemstar Group, Dr Emmanuel Awode.”
