The 2021 Law Week For the Nigerian Bar Association Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), willfully begins tomorrow, 30th August, with an Opening Ceremony.

The keynote speaker for the event is Dr. Uchenna Emelonye, Esq, Country Representative, United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Monrovia, Liberia.

Chairman is the Acting Chief Judge of High Court of Justice, Federal Capital Territory Judiciary, Hon. Justice Hussein Baba-Yusuf.

The event’s planning committee chairman, Mr. Steve Emelieze has stated that the theme of this year’s Unity Bar Law Week, ‘Insecurity, Rule of law and Human Rights: Are we on the right path?’ is a reflection of the country’s current state of affairs.

The venue is Executive Hall, International Conference Center, Abuja and the time is 9 am prompt.

According to the information by the Publicity Secretary, Ikemefuna Onyeka, the first 30 Young Lawyers will get a gift from the Law Week Committee.

Also, there will be free Prostate and Breast Cancer Screening for the first 20 senior male and first 20 female lawyers to arrive at the venue.
