Nigeria Ambassador to Mexico, Adejare Bello, on Monday said efforts were being intensified to get big investors to the country.

Bello, who spoke at an event organised to mark his 60th birthday in Ede, Osun State, also promised to work for Nigeria to benefit maximally from the Latin America country.

The envoy, who joined the event via zoom, also commended Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola; and a former Lagos governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, for supporting him to clinch ambassadorial seat.

He said, “I need prayers for me to bring opportunities to Ede, Osun State and even Nigeria. We need prayers and efforts so that big investors can invest in Nigeria.

“I am assuring that development will come to Ede, Osun and Nigeria with our collective support. I appreciate Osun State governor, Adegboyega Oyetola for his good gesture because through him I met Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and I was nominated as an ambassador.”
