Yobe: CJ, Justice Kaigama suspends this year’s vacation for High Court judges

The Chief Judge of the Yobe State Government and the Chairman, Administration of Justice Committee, Justice Gumna Kashim Kaigama has suspended this year’s annual vacation for High Court judges in the State.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Information Officer, High Court of Justice, Isah Yunusa Mohammed and made available to newsmen on Saturday in Damaturu.

The Chief Judge in the statement noted that, the annual vacation which is suppose to commence from August and end in September will not hold this year so as to make up for lost time as a result of strike action by the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria from 6th April to June, 2021.

According to the statement, the Chief Judge commended the support, understanding and cooperation of the High Court judges in the state in an effort to deliver quick dispensation of justice to the citizenry.
