With less than 24 hours to the commencement of elections in the Lagos Branch of NBA, the Electoral Committee has dismissed the petition filed by Shola Abiloye seeking to disqualify his opponent, Nta Ekpiken, who is running to become the Secretary of NBA Lagos.

In a letter issued by the Electoral Committee, the Committee described all the filed petitions as lacking in merit and accordingly dismissed them.

With this ruling, Nta is now sure to proceed to the polls tomorrow.

Her success at the poll will see her emerge as the first female Secretary of NBA Lagos in over two decades.

Nta who has served the NBA in several capacities is currently serving as a member of the NBA Continuing Professional Development Committee and the Head of the Publicity Sub-Committee of the 2021 NBA Technical Committee on Conference Planning.
