The Electoral Committee of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Kaduna Branch has cleared to contest for the Chairman of the Branch.

According to a press release by the Secretary of the Electoral Committee, Abdullahi Alfa Mohammed, M.T. Mohammed was duly cleared by the Electoral Committee having satisfied the eligibility conditions as provided by Bye-Laws of the NBA Constitution 2015 as amended.

M.T. Mohammed comes with a pedigree of service and experience. He was a past Vice-Chairman of the Branch from 2013 to 2015. He has also served as Secretary of the Branch in 2011-2013.

He has also served in non-elective positions, such as Law Week Planning Chairman, Finance & General Purpose Chairman, he is currently the Alt. Chairman of the Law Week Planning Committee and several other positions.

He was a Member of the National Executive Committee of the NBA for six years.

He enjoys tremendous support amongst the Senior and Young Lawyers in the Branch.
