Gadzama Appointed As Chairman Mentorship Committee Of Body Of Benchers
*Says Ready To Work With NBA In Raising The Bar

A dogged Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, has said that he is ready to work with the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, in raising the professional standards of the legal profession.

Gadzama, in a letter, addressed to the president of the Nigerian Bar Association, Olumide Akpata, dated 7th April, with the REF NO.: J-K/ABJ/NBA/APP/04/21, and made available to ASKLEGALPALACE said mentorship is an interest that the Body of Benchers shares with the NBA, which, under Akpata’s leadership, has demonstrated a clear commitment to raising both ethical and professional standards at the Bar.
 
He stated, “The NBA has made laudable strides on its own, and I am convinced that even more spectacular achievements will follow if it collaborates with the Committee – and by extension, BOB – in discharging this mandate.

“I look forward to working together with the NBA under your leadership, along with the Young Lawyers Forum, in the effort to raise ever higher the professional standards of our noble profession”.

Chief Gadzama was on Thursday, 25th March, 2021, appointed Chairman of the Mentorship Committee of the Body of Benchers (BOB).

The Mentorship Committee of the BOB is charged with the responsibility of promoting the values and skills that are crucial to excellence in the legal profession and is committed to ensuring that these skills are transmitted to the coming generations of lawyers.

Recall that on Tuesday, reported so that J-K Gadzama, SAN, was appointed by the Nigerian Bar Association to lead the legal team challenging the extension of Adamu Mohammed’S tenure as the Inspector General of Police.
