The Nigerian Bar Association Review Committee has asked lawyers to submit their contributions towards the further amendment of the NBA Constitution. 

According to the statement signed by the Committee’s Secretary, Mr. Orji A. Uka, the said contributions has to be in form of Memoranda on any matter that will facilitate the actualization of the aims and objectives of the NBA and bring the NBA Constitution in line with best practices for leading global professional associations like the NBA.

The statement further states that “all proposals and memoranda, addressed to the Chairman of the Committee, are to be submitted to the National Secretariat at NBA House, Plot 1101 Muhammadu Buhari Way, Central Business District, FCT Abuja not later than 21 days from the date of this publication i.e. by 6 pm on 19 April 2021 or they may be sent electronically to the email address of the committee’s Secretariat namely nbaconstitutionreviewcommittee@nigerianbar.org.ng

That the leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) recently set up a Constitution Review Committee with the mandate to set in motion the processes to further amend the extant Constitution of the NBA.
