The committee is headed by Air Vice Marshal, Ben Chiobi (rtd), with monarchs of the warring communities as members. It would be inaugurated today by Deputy Governor Nkem Okeke

Terms of reference for the committee include, establishing the immediate cause of the January 16 dispute between the communities; to invite and interview families that own the land in dispute; to establish boundaries between Aguleri and Umuleri, and to recommend other possible solutions that will guarantee lasting peace in the area.
The committee has three weeks to conclude its assignment.
Other members of the committee are Permanent Secretary, Office of the Secretary to the State Government Mrs. Uju Nworgu (Secretary); Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Bonaventure Enemali; Commissioner for Lands Chike Maduekwe; Chairman, Anambra State Physical Planning Board, among others.
